Add a user to a role
You can add a user to a role when want to give the permissions that role provides.
If a user is added to a role, the user must sign out and sign in again before the user's permissions are updated.
To add a user to a role
- On the left, click Security > RBAC.
- Click the Roles tab.
- Click on the role that you want to edit and click on the Users tab.
- From the Sign-in type list, select the sign-in method you want the user to use.
Note: The SAML options are only available if there is an IDP configuration available for NetBackup.
