Configuring RBAC

To configure role-based access control for the NetBackup web UI, perform the following steps.

Reassign NetBackup 8.2 users to new RBAC roles.

If you upgraded from NetBackup 8.2 to NetBackup 8.3, you need to create new roles for existing users and for API key users. See Upgrading API key users to NetBackup 8.3.

Before you can add domain users, Active Directory or LDAP domains must be authenticated with NetBackup.
