Configuring NetBackup Malware Scanner (Avira)

This section includes the following:

  • Mirror server configuration for signature update of malware scanner tool (Avira) when internet connectivity is not there on scan host.

  • Proxy server configuration for malware scanner tool (Avira) when no direct internet connectivity.

  • NetBackup malware scanner configuration on scan host.

NetBackup Malware Scanner configuration can also be performed using automated scripts. For more information, refer to the following section:

Note:

Automated scripts do not include mirror server and proxy server configuration. If required, then manually perform the steps in the following:

Configure a proxy server on Windows or Linux

Note:
