Using appliance LUN I/O with an external dashboard
As LUN I/O metrics are exposed through the same metrics API as other Flex Appliance performance metrics, you can query them directly and feed them into an external monitoring tool. Metric names beginning with flex_disk_ identify the LUN I/O counters described above. API access uses the same authentication and role-based permissions as other performance metrics on the appliance.
Note:
The metrics API returns values per node. It does not combine multi-node LUN activity the way the Console charts do. If you are building a custom dashboard, aggregate by LUN yourself.
