Rollback steps in VMware environment
The rollback operation returns the image or any action return to the previous state. Hence, you may require to rollback the steps in case the upgrade operation fails.
Steps to rollback in VMware environment
- Delete the newer version appliance which you have deployed in step 6 in the topic Upgrading Resiliency Platform in VMware environment
- Power on the older version appliance.
- Run update > prepare-for-update command on the older appliance which reverts back the configuration as before
