Rollback steps in Hyper-V environment
The rollback operation returns the image or any action return to the previous state. Hence, you may also require rollback steps in case the upgrade operation fails.
Steps to rollback in Hyper-V environment
- Delete the newer version appliance which you have deployed in step 3 in the topic See Upgrading Resiliency Platform in Hyper-V environment .
- Power on the older version appliance.
- Run update > prepare-for-update command on the older appliance which reverts back the configuration as before.
