Prerequisites for vCenter server
Following are the prerequisites for the vCenter server (Windows based or Linux appliance) to be used with Veritas Resiliency Platform for recovery of VMware virtual machines to on-premises data canter:
vCenter server version should match the versions mentioned in the compatibility matrix:
Time of vCenter server and IMS should be synchronized using the same NTP server.
vCenter server needs to resolve the names and IP addresses of the individual ESXi nodes.
vCenter server needs to resolve the name and IP address of the IMS used during installation. VMware Installation Bundle (VIB) is hosted by the IMS and the vCenter server needs access to the IMS to access the VIB. The IMS IP address must be available during installation, upgrade, and uninstallation of the VIB.
If the IMS is redeployed with the same VIB version in the Resiliency domain, then you need to update the VIB URL in vCenter server. To achieve this, perform Upgrade Veritas Replication VIB operation on each cluster that is impacted by the replaced IMS.
The following services must be running on both the production and DR vCenter servers:

vmware-psc-client :VMware Platform Services Controller Client
vmware-stsd:VMware Security Token Service
vmcad :VMware Certificate Service
vmdird:VMware Directory Service
