Media Reports > Media Utilization
This report shows the number of media in use for a server per date. The columns in the table show assigned, unassigned, frozen, full, off-site, or suspended media states. The data for this report is only calculated once in a day. So the report shows the summary till the previous date. The data for today reflects in the report that you generate tomorrow. The table in the report is organized by date and server, and shows counts for each media state.

You can edit the Media Utilization report to show or hide the columns that you are interested in. All the columns are shown by default. You can also filter the report to view reports of specific master servers. The following table shows the filters for Media Utilization report and how you can use these filters to view specific data in the report.

Example of filter usage: Run the Media Utilization report for a one week timeframe and for a single master server.
The following report enhancements have been made for the Media State report:
The unit Years has been added for Relative Timeframe selection. You can now view data for the last X years. You can also select Year from the top-right corner of the report.
The option Next has been removed from the drop-down menu for Relative Timeframe. You now cannot enter a relative timeframe like Next 2 weeks.
