Veritas NetBackup™ OpsCenter Reporting Guide

Job Success Rate report

This report gives the success rate of backup jobs on the Cloud for each configured Cloud storage provider. It also helps you to compare job success rates for different Cloud storage providers.

You can also view the Success Rate (%) for a specific job end date or time in a tabular format. Click Show Table to view the details in a tabular format.

The X-axis shows the Job end time and date and Y-axis shows the Job Success Rate in percentage. The Legend defines different colors for specific storage providers.

Click Show Chart as Table to view details in the tabular format.

You can edit the report and configure the timeframe or run the report for specific views, clients, or master servers.

The following table shows the filters for Job Success Rate report and how you can use these filters to view specific data in the report.

Select a view to show data for the selected view in the report. By default All My Views is selected.

Master Server

Master Server

Select one or more master servers to view data for the selected master servers in the report. All master servers that are added to the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value drop-down list .

Media Server

Media Server

Select one or more media servers to view data for the specific media servers in the report. All media servers that are attached to the master servers in the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value drop-down list.

Client

Client OS

The default selection is Yes. By default, Active Clients are displayed in the report. Hence the clients that are not actively backed up are omitted by default. Select No if you want to view the report for all the clients.

Select one or more clients to view data for the selected clients in the report. All clients that are protected by the master servers in the OpsCenter console are listed.

Select one or more client OS to view data for the selected client OS in the report.

Select one or more policy data classification names to view data for the selected policy data classification names.

Select one or more policy keyword to view data for the policies having the selected keyword.

Select one or more policy names to view data for the selected policies.

Select one or more policy types to view data for the selected policy types.

Select one or more schedule types like CINC, Copy, Daily etc. to view data for the selected schedule types.

Job

Job Status

Job Transport Type

Product Type

Select one or more Job Status like Failed, Missed, Partially Successful etc. to view data for the selected job status in the report.

Select one or more transport types like FT, LAN, or Unknown to view data for the jobs that have the selected transport type.

Select one or more backup products to view data for the selected products.

Success Rate

Client Name

Select one or more clients to view data for the selected clients in the report. All clients that are protected by the master servers in the OpsCenter console are listed.

Example of filter usage: You may run the Job Success Rate report for specific clients to view details only for the specific clients.

You can also select time interval for which you want to group the records. For example, if you select 1 month as the Time Frame and 10 days as the Group By interval, the report shows records in three chunks of data grouped by 10 days.
