Veritas NetBackup™ OpsCenter Reporting Guide

Virtual Client Summary report

The Virtual Client Summary report shows details of all virtual clients of a NetBackup master server. Using this report, you can determine whether these virtual clients were backed up by NetBackup or not. Thus, you can report on the virtual clients that need to be protected. It also shows at a glance that last time the client was backed up. .

You can also drill down in this report to see the job details of a specific virtual client.

OpsCenter can poll the vCenter or Hyper-V server to determine what systems have been configured and compare that with the NetBackup policies that have been created. This helps to track those virtual machines that are not being protected by any NetBackup polices.

Note:

Cheking that the virtual machine is added in the is possible opnly when the policy is manually created or when successful backup has happened for the virtual machine.
