Running the Troubleshooter
Use the to understand the status of a job.
To run the Troubleshooter
- In the NetBackup Administration Console, do one of the following:
To understand the status of a job in the Activity Monitor
In the left pane, click Activity Monitor.
In the right pane, select the Jobs tab at the bottom of the pane.
Select a job from the list.
To understand the status of a job in a report
In the left pane, expand NetBackup Management > Reports.
In the left pane, click the name of the report you want to run.
For some reports, you must first expand a report group, and then click the name of the report.
In the right pane, click Run Report.
Select a job from the list that is generated.
To look up a status code
Go to step 2.
- Click Help > Troubleshooter.
- If no explanation appears, enter a status code and click Lookup.
The Troubleshooter provides assistance for NetBackup codes only. Use the NetBackup help to find information for Media and Device Management codes.
