DISABLE_JOB_LOGGING option for NetBackup servers

This option disables the logging of the job information that the NetBackup Activity Monitor requires.

On NetBackup master servers.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

Use the following format:

DISABLE_JOB_LOGGING

The default is that this option is not present in the configuration file and that job logging occurs.

Equivalent Administration Console property

NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Master Servers > Double-click on server > Media > Enable job logging.
