Table: Setting up NBWSS communication between NetBackup and a cloud-based application

Sequence	Tasks
Task 1	The service provider develops a component in the cloud application that communicates with NetBackup by means of NBWSS messages. For more information, refer to the following topic: See WebSocket endpoint details and their formatting. For further information on the APIs that are available in this NetBackup release: See Additional documentation on NetBackup APIs.
Task 2	The service provider sends the cloud application's WebSocket endpoint details to the NetBackup administrator.
Task 3	To add the endpoint to NetBackup, the NetBackup administrator saves the endpoint details as access credentials. See Saving NetBackup credentials for a WebSocket server endpoint.
Task 4	The NetBackup administrator can adjust the properties of NBWSS. For example, you can change the time interval at which NetBackup starts a new connection to a cloud application. See Configuring the properties of the NetBackup WebSocket Service (NBWSS). See Starting a NetBackup connection to a cloud application.
