Set minimum debug logging

The Set Minimum Debug Logging Wizard panel sets to minimum the logging levels of the NetBackup debug logging that the Setup Debug Logging Wizard enabled.

Information about the logging levels that this wizard configures is available in the following document:

http://www.veritas.com/docs/TECH204256

To set minimum debug logging

  1. In the NetBackup Administration Console, in the left pane, select the Logging Assistant node.
  2. The right pane of the NetBackup Administration Console displays the list of Logging Assistant records. Select the record whose debug logging you want to set to minimum.
  3. In the Actions menu, select Set Minimum Debug Log. The Welcome panel for the Set Minimum Debug Logging Wizard appears.

    Click Next to continue.

  4. The Set Minimum Debug Logging Selected Hosts and Processes panel appears. Use this panel to confirm the host problem categories and processes for all debug logs that were enabled. The hosts can be the master server, one or more media servers, and one or more clients.

    Click Next to continue.

  5. The Set Minimum Debug Logging Results panel displays the results of the reset operation. The upper window shows the hosts and processes whose debug logs are successfully reset. The lower window shows the unsuccessful debug logging resets.

Click Finish to complete the Set Minimum Debug Logging Wizard.
