Changing the host properties on multiple hosts at the same time
You can change the host properties for multiple hosts at one time. This can be done by one of the following procedures:
Changing multiple hosts in the Host Properties
To simultaneously change the properties on multiple hosts
- In the NetBackup Administration Console, expand NetBackup Management > Host Properties.
- Select Master Server, Media Server, or Clients.
- In the right pane, select a host. Hold down the Shift key and select another host.
- With multiple hosts still selected, click Actions > Properties.
The properties dialog box displays the names of the selected hosts that will be affected by the subsequent host property changes.
- Make changes as necessary.
- Click OK to save the changes for all hosts and to close the dialog box.
Changing multiple hosts in the Policies utility
To simultaneously change the properties on multiple hosts from Summary of All Policies
- In the NetBackup Administration Console, navigate to Policies > Summary of All Policies in the middle pane.
- Under Summary of All Policies, expand Clients.
- In the right pane, hold down the Shift key to select multiple clients.
- With multiple hosts still selected, right-click and select Host Properties.
- Change the client properties in the dialog box.
- Click OK to apply the changes to all hosts and to close the dialog box.
