Add a key in NetBackup to use the cloud KMS server

Use this procedure to add a key to use the cloud KMS server using web UI.

After a KMS server is configured in NetBackup, you need to add a key in that KMS server to use the key you have created in the cloud.

See Configure cloud KMS.

To add a key to use the cloud KMS server

  1. On the left, click Security > KMS.
  2. Select the cloud KMS for which you want to create a key. On the KMS details page, in the Key groups and keys section, click Add.
  3. On the Add key dialog box, specify the following details:
    • Key group name

    • Algorithm

    • Cloud KMS key ID

    • Description

  4. Click Add.
