NetBackup™ Web UI Administrator's Guide

Freeze mode options

You can enable freeze mode for the following NetBackup configurations and operations:

  • Updates to configurations (example: add, update, delete policies)

    • Updates to NetBackup configurations are blocked.

    • Updates to NetBackup objects by NetBackup interfaces are blocked.

  • Backups and storage lifecycle policy operations (example: duplication, replication) - Automated and manual backups, and SLP operations are blocked

  • Restore operations - Restore operations are blocked

  • Image expiry operations - The following operations are blocked:

    • Scheduled image expiry

    • User-initialed image expiry
