Creating policies for cloud assets

You can add cloud policies for different types of workloads. Before you create a policy, ensure that you have a Storage lifecycle policy (SLP) created for that policy to view the job operation hierarchy. See Adding an SLP.

To create a policy:

  1. On the left, click Protection > Policies.
  2. Click Add to create a new policy.
  3. Configure the settings for the policy.

  4. After you are finished configuring the policy, click Create.
