NetBackup™ Upgrade Guide

Previous upgrade operational notes and limitations

This section contains two types of information:

  • Information that is not required for all installations.

Depending on your specific environment, some installation details are not required. Cohesity strives to keep the install process focused on the critical core details required for installation. Details which apply only to some installations are located here to help minimize the core NetBackup installation.

  • Information regarding new features or requirements that were previously part of the Upgrade operational notes and limitations section.

After Cohesity introduces a new requirement or feature, it is considered part of the NetBackup. While the information is incorporated into the overall installation process, it's maintained here for historical reasons.

See Upgrade operational notes and limitations for NetBackup 11.2.
