Configure the NetBackup Malware Scanner on scan host

Recommendation for Avira

It is recommended not to change the name of the EICAR test file downloaded from EICAR website.

Avira does not detect files with .txt extension. Avira considers these as simple text files and skips malware scan of such files.

The description and purpose of the EICAR test file is as follows:

The EICAR Anti-Virus test file, also known as the EICAR test file, is a computer file developed by the European Institute for Computer Antivirus Research (EICAR) and the Computer Antivirus Research Organization (CARO). Its purpose is to test the response of computer antivirus (AV) programs without using real malware that could cause actual damage. Instead of using harmful viruses, the EICAR test file allows people to safely evaluate their antivirus software.
