Deactivate or activate a database
You can make a database that is part of an intelligent group inactive in NetBackup so it is excluded from a backup. For example, if the database is under maintenance. Note that when you use legacy (non-intelligent group) policies or batch files, NetBackup ignores the and backs up both and databases.
To deactivate a database
- Select the Databases tab.
- Select the database that you want to deactivate.
- Select Deactivate.
To activate a database
- Select the Databases tab.
- Select the database that you want to activate.
- Select Activate.
