Customize protection settings for an AHV asset

You can customize certain settings for a protection plan, including schedules.

To customize protection settings for an AHV asset

  1. On the left, click Workloads > Nutanix AHV.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Edit the settings for a VM

      On the Virtual machines tab, click on the VM that you want to edit.

    • Edit the settings for an Intelligent VM group

      On the Intelligent VM groups tab, click on the group that you want to edit.

  3. Click Customize protection > Continue.
  4. You can edit one or more of the following settings:
    • The backup start window.

      See Schedules and retention.

    • Backup options

      See Backup options.

  5. Click Protect.
