NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 8739

Message: The host ID-to-host name mapping cannot be added. Automatic mapping is disabled for NAT clients.

Explanation: NAT clients cannot use alternative names for connection. Automatic host ID-to-host name mapping is disabled for NAT clients.

Recommended Action: Add the required host ID-to-host name mapping using the NetBackup web UI or NetBackup Administration Console. Alternatively, use the nbhostmgmt command to add the required name mapping.
