Managing the Storage Platform Web Service (SPWS)

The Storage Platform Web Service (SPWS) is a service for Instant Access and Universal Shares. Use the following procedures to manage the SPWS.

To view the status of the SPWS

  1. Open an SSH session to the server.
  2. Run the following command:

    dedupe spws status

To stop or start the SPWS

  1. Open an SSH session to the server.
  2. Run one of the following commands:

    dedupe SPWS stop

    dedupe SPWS start
