Recovering virtual machines to Azure using NetBackup MSDP-C
The ability to provide resiliency for workloads in VMware environment in the event of a disaster, planned or unplanned it should be possible to recover workloads from premise to Azure cloud. With this feature Resiliency Platform supports VMware to Azure workloads recovery using NetBackup MSDP-C which highlights these features:
Copy ecosystem is used for recovery where the NetBackup MSDP-C should backup the VMware virtual machines to Azure's storage containers.
CRS provides API's to get the respective VHD's of boot and data disks in the Azure's storage containers.
Azure virtual machine having disk with type ultra disk is not supported.
The support for a virtual machine with bios mode and UEFI boot mode in a resiliency group is added in Resiliency Platform 10.2.
From version 10.1.0.1, Resiliency Platform also supports Veritas Alta Recovery Vault and it can be added as a storage account to your Cloud Recovery Server (CRS) which is configured for Azure cloud along with MSDP-C in the same region.

Set up the resiliency domain | Set up the infrastructure and basic settings of the Veritas Resiliency Platform resiliency domain. Create resiliency groups | After adding the assets to Resiliency Platform, you organize the related assets into a resiliency group that you can protect and manage as a single entity.
