Troubleshooting : Issues occurred while prepare host for replication or while configuring resiliency group.
It may happen that after preparing host for replication, operations like configuring resiliency group, refreshing resiliency group may fail for the added host with the error "INVALID_HOST_ID". Even the DR operations may fail if the host and the vCenter server are configured (added or moved) to different IMS after prepare host for replication operation.
Steps to resolve:
Verify that the vCenter server is added with two different IMSs say IMS-1 and IMS-2 so the configuration can be as done as IMS-1 is added as the discovery host and IMS-2 is added as the protected host.
Remove the vCenter server and add it back to the Resiliency Platform configuration. While re-adding it, ensure that it is added to the same IMS to which the protected hosts are added.
