Managing security
The communication between the external entities using trusted certificates should happen in a secure manner using SSL/TLS standards. In version 3.6, Resiliency Platform introduces managing secured communication with external entities using certificates issued by CA to authenticate the external entities.
Using the Veritas Resiliency Platform console, you can add, uninstall and view the information about the certificate. You can add root and intermediate Certificate Authority (CA) certificates to establish a secure communication.

This toggle button is used to authenticate the certificates or SSH host keys for communicating with external entities (hosts).
Resiliency Platform can be informed to trust the certificate presented by external systems without any verification. However, it is strongly discouraged to toggle off this button from a security standpoint. To access this feature, navigate to Settings > Miscellaneous > Peer Host Identity Verification settings
Note:
The Peer Host Identity Verification settings is not honoured in Azure Stack configuration. So in case of Azure Stack configurations, the secure communication is always enable.
