Reasons for add host operation failure
Any one of the following may be the reason for add host operation failure:
The process of adding host to the IMS is in progress.
Veritas Operations Manager Messaging Service (xprtld) on the host is down.
Time difference between the system clocks on the IMS and the host is more than 90 minutes.
There is a network issue with the host.
Host is not reachable from the IMS and vice versa.
FQDN of the IMS is not resolvable from the host and vice versa.
Required ports are not open on the host.
