Table: Enhancements
| Issue ID | Description |
|---|---|
|
SC-73513 |
PPDM asset protection capacity is now tracked historically instead of being overwritten with each collection. A new log table stores daily snapshots per asset, including protection capacity, asset size, status, protection policy, and last available copy time, so usage can be reviewed over time for billing and reporting purposes. Retention of this historical data is configurable via a new System Configuration parameter, defaulting to 180 days, with support for extended or indefinite retention. |

SC-78797 |
IT Analytics now provides a system parameter, EXCLUDE_DECOMMISSIONED_SERVER, to control the handling of decommissioned primary servers. When enabled, decommissioned primary servers are excluded from the scope selector for reports and alert rules. In addition, they are excluded from alert processing, including resolve-scope evaluation and notification generation when all servers or products are selected. When disabled (default), decommissioned servers remain visible and continue to participate in alert processing, preserving existing behavior. To configure this parameter, navigate to the page in IT Analytics. |
|
SC-72564 |
The VMware collection policy now uses VCF SDK 9.1 to communicate with vCenter and ESXi servers. Starting with this release of IT Analytics, support for vCenter 7.x is deprecated. |
|
SC-79470 |
Exported dashboard reports now more closely match the live dashboard display. HTML and PDF exports preserve the dashboard layout, panel sizing, and font presentation for a more consistent viewing experience. |
|
SC-79867 |
Enhanced Dell PowerStore data collection for PCC reporting. IT Analytics now collects host, host group, volume group, and host-to-volume mapping data from Dell PowerStore systems. This update captures volume group memberships, correlates volume WWNs to logical unit identifiers (naa_id), and adds database indexing on volumes and host-volume mappings to optimize reporting performance and improve infrastructure visibility. |
|
SC-79818 |
IT Analytics now collects and reports fenced port information from Brocade Fabric OS environments. A fenced port is a port automatically disabled by the Brocade MAPS system to isolate a problematic link. The new isFenced attribute is added to Brocade port records and is visible in Inventory under . Users can filter ports by fenced status in relevant SAN and network reports. Fenced port data is collected within the existing Brocade probe framework; no separate probe or configuration change is required. This feature provides read-only visibility only. |
