Node discovery fails during initial configuration if the default password is changed
If you change the default maintenance account password and you click on the Select nodes panel in the NetBackup Flex Scale setup wizard, the node discovery operation hangs. The default password is required on all the nodes. (IA-38247)
Workaround:
If you already changed the password, you must reset the password to the default password using the following command:
# usermod -p '$6$MQFQv7x8IMxW981P$HE0lj8R1HS8BZzomtLCUKDverksLWNouiUuRjBYVNrMVa9M h1CGDoNu5cvN5lVj7ArpkSVdJHPKk5UlInWw1b1' maintenance
