Edit protection settings for an AHV asset

If you have the necessary role permissions, you can edit the settings for a protection plan such as schedules.

To edit protection settings for an AHV asset

On the left, click Workloads > Nutanix AHV.
Do one of the following:
- Edit the settings for a VM
  On the Virtual machines tab, click on the VM that you want to edit.
- Edit the settings for an Intelligent VM group
  On the Intelligent VM groups tab, click on the group that you want to edit.
Click Customize protection > Continue.
If you have the necessary role permissions you can edit one or more of the following settings:
- Schedules and retention
  Change the backup start window.

- Backup options
  See See Backup options.
Click Protect.
