Verifying the Linux drivers

NetBackup requires specific Linux drivers.

See About the required Linux SCSI drivers.

You can use the /sbin/lsmod command to verify that the st and the sg drivers are loaded in the kernel.

To verify that the drivers are installed and loaded in the kernel

  • Invoke the lsmod command as follows:
    lsmod
    Module          Size           Used by
    sg             14844             0
    st             24556             0
