About the NetBackup configuration entry

The VXDBMS_NB_DATA registry entry (Windows) or the bp.conf entry (UNIX) is a required entry and is created upon installation. The entry indicates the path to the directory where NBDB.db, NBAZDB.db, BMRDB.db, and the vxdbms.conf files are located.

On Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veritas\NetBackup\CurrentVersion\

Config\VXDBMS_NB_DATA

On UNIX: /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf:

VXDBMS_NB_DATA = /usr/openv/db/data
