BUSY_FILE_PROCESSING option for NetBackup clients

The BUSY_FILE_PROCESSING entry lets the administrator control what NetBackup does when a file changes while it is in the process of being backed up.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

Use the following format:

BUSY_FILE_PROCESSING = yes

By default, BUSY_FILE_PROCESSING is not present in the configuration file and busy-file processing does not occur.

If present, this option should appear only once in the configuration file.

Equivalent Administration Console property

NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Double-click on client > Busy File Settings.
