CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT option for NetBackup servers

This option specifies the number of seconds that the server waits when it connects to a client. If the server needs to wait longer than the time specified, it times out.

On NetBackup master servers.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

Use the following format:

CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT = seconds

The default timeout is 300 seconds (five minutes).

This option should appear only once in the configuration file.

Equivalent Administration Console property

NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Master Servers > Double-click on server > Timeouts > Client connect timeout.
