NETBACKUP_NATIVE_AUDITING for NetBackup master server

Use the NETBACKUP_NATIVE_AUDITING option to stop storing the NetBackup audit events in the NetBackup database.

By default, the NETBACKUP_NATIVE_AUDITING option is enabled and the NetBackup audit events are stored in the NetBackup database. If you disable this option, the nbauditreport command, the NetBackup Administration Console, and the NetBackup web UI will not show any audit events.

Disabling the NETBACKUP_NATIVE_AUDITING option is not recommended.

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

To stop storing the NetBackup audit events in the NetBackup database, use the following format:

NETBACKUP_NATIVE_AUDITING = 0

This setting is not recommended.

Equivalent Administration Console property

No equivalent exists in the NetBackup Administration Console.
