Adding a template to the backup selections list in the NetBackup Administration Console
The following procedure describes how to add a template to the backup selections list in the NetBackup Administration Console.
Note:
Be sure to specify the correct template name in the backup selections list to prevent an error or a wrong operation.
To add a template to the backup selections list in the NetBackup Administration Console
- Open the Policy dialog box.
To access the Policy dialog box, double-click the policy name in the Policies list in the NetBackup Administration Console.
- Click the Backup Selections tab.
- Click New.
- From the Template Set list, choose the template type by operation.
- From the Script or Template list, select a template or type the name of a template.
Include the
.tplextension. Do not include the full path. For example,weekly_full_backup.tpl. - Click Add to add the template to the list.
- Click OK.
