bpcatarc — back up the NetBackup catalog

SYNOPSIS

bpcatarc [-version] [-remove_dotf]

 

On UNIX systems, the directory path to this command is /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/

On Windows systems, the directory path to this command is install_path\NetBackup\bin\admincmd\

DESCRIPTION

bpcatarc processes the output of bpcatlist to back up the selected catalog image .f files and update their image file's catarc field with this backup job ID.

OPTIONS

-version

Displays the bpcatarc version and exit.

-remove_dotf

Removes the .f files for an archived image immediately so that you do not need to run bpcatrm.
