Veritas NetBackup™ Commands Reference Guide

Name

nbmlb — migrates the sign-in banner for the NetBackup Administration Console to the NetBackup Web UI.

SYNOPSIS

nbmlb -migrate file [-force]

 

On UNIX systems, the directory path to this command is /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/

On Windows systems, the directory path to this command is install_path\NetBackup\bin\admincmd\

DESCRIPTION

The nbmlb command migrates the contents of the sign-in banner file for the NetBackup Administration Console to the database. Then the same sign-in banner is used in the NetBackup Web UI.

OPTIONS

-force

Forces an update even when the sign-in banner exists in the NetBackup Web UI. This option is not required.

-migrate file

Where file is the location of the sign-in banner file. On UNIX the location is /usr/openv/var/LoginBanner.conf. On Windows the location is install_path\NetBackup\var\LoginBanner.conf.
