Restoring MongoDB data
For restore you require a backup host. Backup hosts can be either master server, media server, or a NetBackup client.
The following diagram provides an overview of the restore flow.
As illustrated in the diagram:
The restore job is triggered from the master server.
The backup host connects with the config server. Backup host is also the destination client.
The actual data restore from the storage media starts.
The data blocks are restored on the MongoDB cluster.
