Veritas NetBackup™ Release Notes

Accelerator disabled for NAS-Data-Protection policy

With NetBackup 9.0, the Accelerator support for NAS-Data-Protection policy that was introduced with NetBackup 8.3 is disabled. If you upgrade from NetBackup version 8.3 or 8.3.0.1 to version 9.0, the Accelerator option for the NAS-Data-Protection policy in the policy configuration will be disabled.

For existing NAS-Data-Protection policies, if you have enabled the Accelerator and the Accelerator forced rescan options, you must delete the schedule manually and create a new schedule for the policies.
