Configuring MSDP storage server on Solaris 10 fails

When you set up a new MSDP storage server on Solaris 10, the MSDP storage server cannot be configured successfully.

Workaround:

On Solaris 10, before you configure the MSDP storage server, change the first line from #!/bin/sh to #!/bin/bash in the following scripts:

  • /usr/openv/pdde/pdconfigure/scripts/installers/PDDE_initConfig.sh

  • /usr/openv/pdde/pdconfigure/pdde

  • /usr/openv/pdde/pdconfigure/etc/init.d/Solaris/pdde

  • /usr/openv/pdde/pdconfigure/etc/init.d/Solaris/pdservice
