Decommissioning Cloud Catalyst cloud storage

Perform the following procedure before manually deleting any data from the cloud.

To decommission Cloud Catalyst cloud storage

  1. Delete the storage unit that uses the disk pool.
  2. Delete the disk pool.

    See Deleting a Media Server Deduplication Pool.

  3. Delete the Cloud Catalyst storage server.
  4. Run the esfs_cleanup.sh script on the media server to remove all Cloud Catalyst-related information from the server.

    /usr/openv/esfs/scripts/esfs_cleanup.sh

  5. Any remaining data on the cloud storage may now be manually removed.
