NAS-Data-Protection policy

Capacity licensing for all supported CloudPoint plug-ins is specific to the NAS-Data-Protection policy type.

The Client Name column in the itemization sheet of the licensing report displays the backup host selected at the time of backup.

The Policy Name column in the itemization sheet of the licensing report displays the policy name in the SLP_<Policy Name>_<NAS Volume Name format.

The entries in the report are based on per volume. See Clients backed up with multiple streams.

Mount NFS share on the UNIX system and you can run the following commands to verify the size reported by the accurate licensing method.

  • df -l

  • ls -lh
