Sizing calculations for MSDP clients
For a given client, the amount of storage consumed is:
FETB*(1-DI) + FETB*(RF-1)*(1-DS) + (FETB*CD)*(1-DD)*(RD)
Where:
FETB is the front-end terabytes.
DI is the initial full deduplication rate.
DS is the subsequent full deduplication rate.
DD is the daily deduplication rate.
CD is the daily change rate.
RF is the total number of full backups to be retained.
RD is the total number of incremental/differential backups to be retained.
