Hyper-V Policies tab
The Hyper-V tab appears for policies of the Hyper-V policy type.
The following options appear on the Hyper-V tab.

Optimizations Enable file recovery from VM backup |
Allows restore of individual files from the backup. With or without this option, you can restore the entire virtual machine. |

Primary VM identifier |
Specifies the type of name by which NetBackup recognizes virtual machines when it selects them for backup. |

Enable offline backup of non-VSS VMs |
Determines whether NetBackup is allowed to perform an offline backup of a virtual machine. This option is intended for guest operating systems that do not support VSS (such as Linux). |

Cluster shared volumes timeout |
Applies to backups of the virtual machines that are configured in a Microsoft Cluster that uses cluster shared volumes (CSV). |
