Table: BPBACKUP_POLICY information

Usage

Description

Where to use

On NetBackup clients.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

Use the following format:

BPBACKUP_POLICY = policy_name

By default, BPBACKUP_POLICY is not present in the configuration file. By default, NetBackup uses the first policy it finds that has both the client and a user backup schedule.

If present, this option should appear only once in the configuration file.

The value in the user's $HOME/bp.conf file takes precedence if it exists.

No equivalent exists in the NetBackup Administration Console host properties.
