GUI_MAX_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS option for NetBackup servers

This setting determines the number of failed logon attempts after which to lock an account out of the NetBackup Administration Console or the NetBackup web UI.

On NetBackup master servers.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

Use the following format:

GUI_MAX_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS = number of attempts

Where number of attempts is the number of logon attempts after which to lock the user account.

This option is disabled by default.

Equivalent Administration Console property

NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Master Servers > server > User Account Settings > Number of failed login attempts allowed
