HADOOP_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED for servers and clients

The HADOOP_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED option enables the validation of Hadoop server certificates using its root or intermediate certificate authority (CA) certificates.

How to use

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

By default, the HADOOP_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED is set to YES.

Use the following format to enable certificate validation for Hadoop:

HADOOP_SECURE_CONNECT_ENABLED = YES

Equivalent Administration Console property

No equivalent exists in the NetBackup Administration Console host properties.
