USE_VXSS option for NetBackup servers and clients
The USE_VXSS option specifies whether the local system uses NetBackup product authentication and authorization.

How to use | Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option. For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide. Use the following format: USE_VXSS = REQUIRED | PROHIBITED | AUTOMATIC The option uses the following parameters: REQUIRED Indicates that the local system always uses NetBackup product authentication and authorization. Connections from the systems that do not use NetBackup product authentication and authorization are rejected. PROHIBITED (Default.) Indicates that the local system never uses NetBackup product authentication and authorization. Connections from the systems that use NetBackup product authentication and authorization are rejected. AUTOMATIC Indicates that the local system negotiates with the remote system whether to use NetBackup product authentication and authorization. If the USE_VXSS = AUTOMATIC option is specified, VXSS_NETWORK entries can be used to require or prohibit NetBackup product authentication and authorization connections with specified remote systems.
